About the artist:

I have always been interested in art from the time I was a small child; and it seemed natural for me to pursue this field into college. It was an exciting time of my life, very creative and challenging. Although I earned a degree in fine arts with a teaching certificate, I never found work in the teaching field. Instead I transitioned into the commercial graphics field; and have worked in various graphic positions in California and Washington state.

Currently, I am pursuing avenues which are closer to my original passion for art as a means of creative expression; and a re-entry into the book illustration field.
